Michael J. Blanchard, CPA
Founder & Partner
Blanchard, Ganier & Associates CPAs APC
Michael Blanchard founded the firm of the same name, Michael J. Blanchard, CPA, in
October of 2000, in his hometown of Houma, LA. The firm was created with a clear mission: to provide businesses with trusted accounting, tax, and consulting services. The firm has since evolved into Blanchard, Ganier & Associates CPAs APC, with offices in both Houma and Thibodaux.
With over 30 years of experience in public accounting, Michael brings deep expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and business growth. He works with companies of all sizes to enhance financial health, implement tax-efficient strategies, and secure essential financing. His consulting services focus on tax mitigation, SBA and USDA loans packages, traditional and non-bank financing solutions, and overall business development and growth.
A proud graduate of Terrebonne High School, Michael earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Nicholls State University in 1995. He began his career as a staff accountant at Martin & Pellegrin CPAs.
Michael is a member of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) and the Louisiana Society of CPAs (LCPA). He is also a member of the
AICPA’s Taxation, Personal Financial Planning, and Forensic & Valuation Services sections.
Michael is married to Angela Richard Blanchard, and together they have two sons,
Zachary and Ethan.
Petrina Dupre Duhe’, CPA, CFE
Partner

She may be the firm’s newest partner, but Petrina Duhe brings a wealth of experience
and expertise to the ranks.
Officially announced as partner in April of 2025, Duhe has been a key member of the
BGA team since 2015. She is truly dedicated to her clients and passionate about helping them achieve their financial goals, and she plays an integral part to daily operations of the firm. There’s never a question she (almost) can’t answer from office support and staff accountants!
Duhe, a Houma native, has worked in public accounting for 25 years. She is a graduate of Terrebonne High School and Nicholls State University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 2001.
In addition to her CPA license, Duhe is also a Certified Fraud Examiner and member of
the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) and the Louisiana Society of CPAs (LCPA).
Petrina is married to Danny and is mom to Luke and Danica. In her spare time, she enjoys local theater and spending time with her friends and family attending concerts and community events.
Jill Hebert Ganier, CPA

Jill Ganier, long-time partner at Blanchard, Ganier and Associates CPAs APC, has been instrumental in the firm’s growth since joining the team in 2007. Now with over 20 years of experience in public accounting and business and individual tax preparation, Ganier’s role as a team leader is vital to the continued growth and success of BGA.
Ganier was born and raised in Houma and is an alumna of Vandebilt Catholic High School. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Nicholls State
University in 2003, followed by her earning her CPA license. After working with another local firm for four years, she started her tenure with Michael J. Blanchard, CPA APC and made partner in 2016. It was thereafter, in March of 2021, that the firm officially changed its name to include Ganier as an official shareholder.
Ganier is an active member of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA) and the Louisiana Society of CPAs (LCPA).
When she’s not crunching numbers or solving problems (or planning some fun activity for the office), she loves traveling, cooking and spending time with her husband Matthew and their daughter Sadie and son Layne.
